to Valiente Dual Academy
We are excited to launch this new learning center where elementary aged homeschooled children can come together to learn Spanish from native speakers. A second language is a skill that will follow your student into adulthood, opening their minds to a new way of learning and connecting them to the wider world around them. We are grateful for the privilege of sharing our culture and language with you!
Meet Mr. V

I am Cristian Vasquez, a.k.a. Mr. V. I have been a public school teacher for the past 10 years, but have always been passionate about teaching my native language, español (Spanish), to children.
​
I began my own education journey at a dual immersion school, and so I am excited to have the opportunity to teach others in the same setting and share my heritage through Valiente Dual Academy.
​
I obtained my Elementary Education degree from Cal State University Monterey Bay in 2013. I moved to Fort Walton Beach in 2014 and joined the Okaloosa School District.
​
When not working you can find me spending time with my family at the beach or local state park, or watching fútbol.

Meet Our Teachers
Savannah Vasquez
Science Teacher/Administrator
Savannah holds a degree in English with a minor in creative arts. A second generation homeschooler, Savannah was homeschooled as a military child from second grade through high school. Inspired by the flexibility and personal customization of homeschooling, she began home education with her own two boys in 2022. Savannah loves hands-on learning experiences and led a homeschool science group focused on field trips last year.
